Bought a New Home or Refinanced in 2019?

If you bought a home or refinanced in 2019, make sure that your Homestead Exemption has been filed and any additional mortgage exemptions that you may qualify for in the State.  In Marion County, Indiana you may go online to file any additional exemptions, but this must be done prior to December 31, 2019.  Typically in most counties in Indiana, the title company at closing files the big one "Homestead" but it is up to you to file additional exemptions.  Even if you refinance, the Homestead must be refiled!  Call US if you need additional help.
